Yigit Akbarlas was born in Istanbul and graduated from ITU (Istanbul Technical University) Faculty of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 1996. He is married and has a daughter. After 5 years of several ship construction and refit projects decided to continue in boat and yacht design and setup his own company.

Yigit Akbarlas has several successful unique designs cruising all over the world over 65ft and serial production boats/yachts up to 45ft length. He has a deep experience of using all kind of materials and technics in boat building.

Since he is also specialized in Project Management, Owners Rep and CE documentation on pleasure/commercial vessels has the chance to work with well known designers, classification societies and shipyards during this period.
